Could a non-credit course complement my degree?

All of the courses at the Centre for Continuing Education are non-credit. What this means is that they don’t contribute towards an academic degree program.

Our certificates and diplomas are industry-recognized, however, and offer an accessible alternative to traditional academic programs. In fact, academic students often supplement their degrees with our courses to upgrade their skill sets in a non-academic setting. For example, an MBA student might not want to risk a low grade in a language course, but with our courses he or she can develop those skills without risking his or her GPA. Any students struggling with a technologically-demanding course can upgrade their computer skills without having to take a bunch of prerequisites and wasting course time. Our professional development helps give graduating students that “something extra” – something that can go a long way when you’re out in the market competing with fellow grads for jobs.

If you’re currently enrolled in an academic program at a Montreal area University and are interested in giving yourself a leg up on the rest of your class, give us a call and see what courses might.
