Invitation
The Concordia University Centre for Continuing Education has recently created two $500 bursaries every semester specifically for its students by reallocating funds from the marketing budget. Now the Centre needs students help with the marketing in return. The Centre invites its students to show off what they are learning by taking part in our “This is Mine Now” contest.
The Centre will be using student-created materials in our upcoming campaigns to show what our students are learning in their courses. All submissions will be showcased in a gallery on the Centre’s Facebook page.
Submissions may be in any media – creative writing, PowerPoint, photography, Flash programming, animation, graphic design – so long as the media relates to the course the student is taking at the Centre.
Creative Direction
The Centre’s current recruitment and promotional campaign uses the theme “Permanently Yours” to capture the value education has. Once attained, it cannot be taken away. The goal of this promotion is to showcase student accomplishments. showing how your education has become a permanent part of your life.
The audience for this campaign is you – before you registered. Recall back to when you decided to take your course and what made you consider it. Your submission is meant to reflect your ownership of your education. and therefore general demographic profiles of the campaign audience are not as relevant as why you chose continuing education.

There is no real deadline. This will be an ongoing part of the Centre’s marketing approach and promotion of its students’ achievements. However, appropriate submissions will be posted on a first-come first-serve basis to our facebook site during the Spring 2010 marketing campaign.
